On 5/8/2022 a payment in the amount of $146 was reversed because my significant other at the time had not recognized a charge on his ledger, and filed a claim with his credit card company, and I explained to him that I had made the payment And the charge was reversed and I had to make a cash payment. I asked him to accompany me to the storage facility and supply the cash to rectify the account. When I arrived at the office location to make the cash payment, I was told by Jeanette that I had committed fraud, and from that point forward she wanted me to pay cash. I explain to her that it was very seldom that I had cash on me and preferred to either pay by check or debit card because it's convenient and I did not live in this city. She went on to say that I had committed fraud AGAIN! And put a bad mark on the companies reputation. Since that date, I have been making payments with a debit card and three other times with cash, being that we did not sign an addendum and both signed it, and agreed to update my current contract. The month of June I made a $200 cash payment which left me with a credit of $32 on my account On July 11, 2023. I made a payment over the phone with a representative received a confirmation . When I physically went to the storage unit after making the payment, I was locked out of the entrance door. My code was changed and there was an additional lock over my lock that I had on the storage unit. I was told by an employee that I had been evicted . Resolution Sought I would like to sue Jeanette T. for damages, breach of contract, conversion, and retaliation, physical and emotional distress. My account is paid in full, after being candid about my health and personal situation, and gave a bad review online she retaliated by making it difficult for me to access the facility, put limitations on the hours I could access my possessions, tried to restrict me from using restroom and step into my personal space to close n lock my unit while I was actively in it
