On 4/8/2024, I received a quote to replace my garage opener, springs and rollers for $1299.95. I agreed. While unloading parts for the job into my garage, I noticed two different cable drums. During the spring replacement I was told by the repair man that cable drums needed to be replaced, also the end bearing plates and the center bearing. These additional items cost $97.00. Was charged $249.95 for the cable drums and $224.99 for the end bearings and plates. I was not told of the up charge until the replacement was halfway done. I mentioned this to the company during my review and was told management would review my invoice. I have yet to hear from them. I believe I was over charged by about $350.00. Resolution Sought Reimburse me the obvious over charge. They made $1299.95 off a $455.00 opener. The cable drums cost $20.00 each and the end bearing plates cost $20.00 each and the center bearing cost $17.00.
