3 years ago this company was hired to do a renovation job on my home. Money had been given as down payments for different pieces of the job totaling $50,000.00. Last year, March 2023, the owner Joseph Ellis had decided the project was too much for him and stating he was not going to be able to do the job. The owner was fully aware of the total amount of refund involved and was insistent that a refund would be made within a couple months. It has been over a year since and there has been minimal communication and no payment of any refund money. I have filed a police report for this large amount of theft and am also pursuing criminal charges. I'm looking to have my refund fulfilled for the whole amount of $50,000.00. Additionally if there are any penalties through the BBB which would be imposed for such an unprofessional and derelict conduct I would ask that be imposed as well. Resolution Sought This business has had more than enough time to refund my money. I am looking for the BBB to assist in assisting me obtain my very overdue refund of $50,000. I expect the BBB will understand the impact and gravity of this criminal situation and it be met with equal attention and urgency to rectify immediately.
