We received a quote for the carpet on our stairs to be removed and laminate installed for $3,500. We asked for a quote for the stairs project mentioned above along with switching out our current laminate floors on the first floor with new laminate. The quote was $10,000 for both projects. We agreed to both projects. The installers said they couldn't do the stair project because the overhang is too large. They also cut the carpet on our bottom two stairs to double check the overhang was too big. We received an offer of half priced carpet or a refund of $999. I called immediately to get clarification on why was the refund only $999. When the original estimate for the stairs was $3,500. We were also told labor would be three days because of how hard the stairs are to complete. The installers finished the first floor in five hours. They are telling me the labor cost for two days and the laminate for 14 stairs is only $999 yet the original quote of the stairs alone was $3,500. Resolution Sought Refund the $2,500 for the stairs.

Had LTV install, the workers were messy and left debris. Their workmanship was subpar and I had to ask constantly ask questions in which they gave quick and elusive responses. The area in my utility room was left incomplete without a separation border, when asked why I was told that the border they had was to big for the area. They left without giving me a resolution of what needed to be done or were they going to bring a smaller one. I called the company explained what had happened, even sent pictures and they are not getting back to me after numerous phone calls and emails for incomplete service for 18 days now with a cut edge that connects to another room with no separation border.. $1254. Is what they charged. Resolution Sought Would like my communication from the company saying they will take care this matter.
