Tell them to call Chrysler Customer Cares department at 800-763-8422 if they would like to file lemon law. The vehicle has been in 3 times for overheating and no repairs have been made because the vehicle does not overheat while at the dealership. Can not verify complaint. No codes showing overheating.

04-28-21 I brought the 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited in for repaired of when I hit a bump in the road, my battery light would pop on, including 4WD light. And, the jeep was making a whining sound. Ron Reed and his tech, Danny Snyder diagnosed the problem as a need for Housing: Thermostat $72.80, Antifreeze: Coolant $25.88, Pulley $34.42, and rear disc breaks $80 - tech: Chris Goetchius. Total costs of parts and labor plus taxes: $786.26. When I paid and drove away', in about 15 minutes or less, the engine light, the temperature light, the oil light, and battery light popped on. I call Ron Reed immediately. He told me to bring the car back and leave it and pick it up the next day. I did. He call me while I was at work at said it would cost $1,400 to repair oil cooler and engine cooler. I told him I had a brand new oil cooler installed the previous month. I told him I will pick the car up and take it to another auto service. I couldn't afford wasting money with EC and the problem made worse. Mr. Reed called me back and said it would only cost me $1,200 to repair because his mechanic test drove the jeep an blew out my brand new oil cooler. A driver waved him down and told him the car was leaking. Mr. Reed suggested a monthly payment program. I declined. When I drove away with a co-worker trailing me. The jeep broke down. It was towed to an auto service. The Diagnosis : Car run hot because new thermostat was changed without bleeding out the system. The damages CE cost me $975 Resolution Sought Reimburse me immediately for the costs to repair the damages that Encore Chrysler allowed and an apology. I prefer they reimburse me at their auto service location on Schilinger Road South Mobile, Al. Just like how I paid them is how they should reimburse me, in purpose and in full. Respect is mutual, even if I'm not a man. Be ethical.

This vehicle came in on 12-22-2020 with 135802 miles on RO 6009603 and was told at that time that they needed an oil cooler and brakes were almost metal to metal. Customer declined repairs. The vehicle came back on 04-28-2021 with 139845 miles on RO 6012498. Stating whining noise coming from the engine area and multiple lights on in the dash. The only active codes showing on the dash were for the 4 tire sensors, and radio codes. The vehicle has no sensors for the tire pressures and has a non-factory radio. All of the other codes were in "Stored" status, meaning at some point they had come on, but were not on at the time of drop off. Technician found that the noise was coming from the idler pulley. Also told the customer that the brakes were dangerously low. Customer approved the repairs that were found at this point. Repairs were completed and verified. No noise or trouble codes active except the same ones that were on when it came in. No repairs were made to correct active codes. When the vehicle came back in with 139890 on RO 6012515 because of the check engine light coming on, new codes were now active that were not active on the 1st repair. See both summary reports attached. It showed that the "oil Pressure Sensor/switch Active" on the 2nd repair. As far as the Oil Cooler being blown, there is no way for someone driving a vehicle to cause the oil cooler to blow. This was a bad repair from a previous unknown shop that caused this. I am not sure where the customer had the repairs completed, but the customer needs to realize that they have a 9 year old vehicle with almost 140,000 on it. Things are going to brake and repairs will be needed. Customer declined the repair and took it back to the shop that did the oil cooler. Encore accepts no liability FOR ANY REPAIRS THE CUSTOMER MAY HAVE APPROVED AT ANOTHER REPAIR FACILITY.
