My complaint is with Energy Shield. We've had nothing but trouble after we put down our deposit of $6,000 in June 2022 which was for enclosing my rear patio. I asked the salesman about the water on the tile patio towards the house that sometimes gets wet when it rains, he told me not a problem because they have a way of blocking the water from coming in. I asked about this again after some engineers from the company came out to take measurements for everything. Finally the owner the company Energy Shield, Ennis Ruston, said he had seen the plans his people gave him for the build and was upset about it saying what his salesman said wouldn't work because the floor wasn't level (same question I asked several months earlier, now you telling me 4-5 months later. Mr Ruston just so happened to have a concrete representative with him…the concrete man gave a quote on how much. Now we're into September and close to the holidays which we were having guests. A week after the concrete was laid I saw hairline cracks that became larger and more noticeable. I called the company which was relaid to me through the office worker that it was normal and not to worry, that was the beginning of many more problems. This $17,000 investment will cost me whenever I attempt to sale my home. What I was trying to increase the value of my home may decrease the value. Resolution Sought Make any and all repairs now and warranties.

Company states: You are welcome to contact the R&C for an inspection. All work was performed to code. This property has a lot drainage issue. we cannot perform this type of work.
