Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) Explained The Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) is an indicator on how responsive a company is in addressing and resolving customer complaints brought to their attention by BCA. If they are considering doing business with the company, consumers can use this indicator to forecast the likelihood of having their issues addressed if a problem arises. CRI measures the company's customer satisfaction abilities through BCA’s complaint mediation process.

Purchased whole house filter system to soften hard well water. Cost approximately $5100.00. They didn't require a water test first. They used test results from when the well was drilled, about 20 years ago I'm guessing. Purchased this property this way. After system was installed, water was still yellow and smelled earthy. My plumber talked Pelican to do a test on there dime and results were hard water with tannins. They didn't test to see what their system took out. They then sold me an additional filter to remove tannins to add to what I already have, and told me it couldn't be warrantees because of my bad water. They promised me an extra filter head at no cost because the one wouldn't last too long. This was an additional approx. cost of $2400.00. Meanwhile I lost my plumber due to their non communication with him and I never got the extra filter head. A new water test at the beginning may have revealed the true picture. I have called a person named Robert Black at Pelican, and he assured me I would get the extra head. I have yet to see it. This whole thing started last October 2020. If the cost to send large heavy filters back to Florida was not so expensive, I would have done so. Resolution Sought Come and get all their filters and refund all my money.
