Company states; EBP denies and disputes the allegations contained in the complaints filed against EBP by Mr. ("Noto"),
regarding the cost of plumbing services provided by EBP to Noto during March 2024. EBP appreciates the opportunity to respond to the complaints.
Upon reviewing the details of the complaints, it is evident that there was no misunderstanding by Noto regarding EBP's pricing structure and the scope of work to be performed and which was completed without complaint by Noto. The work included extra work requested by Noto but conspicuously omitted from the details of Noto's complaints. For over 28 years, EBP's principal
owner and Texas licensed master plumber has taken great pride in providing transparent pricing and delivering high-quality plumbing services to EBP's customers. In fact, Noto, after discovering EBP's ongoing and consistent work for DRN Construction in Longview, had DRN Construction contract with EBP to perform the plumbing work on Noto's project. After performing the underground portion of the work and invoicing DRN Construction for the work, Noto, with the acquiescence of DRN Construction, contacted EBP and instructed EBP to invoice Noto ("Johnny, Inc.") directly instead of DRN Construction and Noto would pay EBP for all of the work. Noto undisputedly knew of the customary charges EBP invoiced DRN Construction and determined that EBP's pricing was acceptable to Noto as comparable to and consistent with prices charged for similar work to EBP customers in the greater Longview, Texas region.
It's important to note that EBP's pricing reflects various factors including the complexity of the job, the expertise required, materials used, and the additional services requested by Noto; all performed without complaint from Noto to EBP. EBP's pricing is competitive within the industry while also of the high standard that EBP's customers expect and have received from EBP for the past 28 years in the Houston and Longview regions.
In the case of Noto, after Noto took on the financial responsibility for payment of EBP's work, and before initiating any additional work. Mr. Randall Yauch, the owner of EBP and Texas licensed master plumber, thoroughly explained the scope of work to be provided at EBP's customary rates charged to DRN Construction, allowing Noto time to make an informed decision. Furthermore, Noto approved the work and EBP's customary charges before EBP proceeded with the work. Noto paid for the work without complaint.
In this case, the cost incurred by Noto was fully disclosed, justified based on the scope and complexity of the work, the expertise and scheduling required to perform the work, and the undisputed quality of the work provided by EBP to Noto.
In this case, Noto approved the work, EBP's pricing, and paid for same without complaint; including even for additional work at the consistent prices. EBP is baffled by Noto's after-the-fact complaints because the complaints have no legitimate basis which Noto ever disclosed to EBP prior to filing the complaints with the BBB and BCA.
