I got a car seat in 2022 only started using it in 2023 and the clip was working and then all of a sudden stopped they gave me 50 percent off a new carseat but I feel like if that clip was faulty they should replace the whole seat I have receipts and video of faulty clip for car seat. Resolution Sought Give me a new car seat not just 50 off.

Evenflo 4 in 1 infant convertible car seat Color Ontario Gray (Item# 39312339) cracked during a car accident. My 6 month old grandson was not in the chair at the time of crash. The chair is still under warranty. I asked for a replacement. Evenflo told me to go thru my Insurance company.The warranty is with their company, not my insurance company. Resolution Sought Receive another car seat for my grandson.

This acknowledges receipt of your correspondence of 9/11/2022 to Evenflo Company, Inc. ("Evenflo") regarding a consumer complaint related to an Evenflo EveryKid 4-in-1 car seat. We appreciate you notifying us of this report and apologize for the delay in our response. Ms. Ransom contacted Evenflo on 8/4/2022 for a replacement car seat because her unoccupied car seat was damaged in an auto accident, and she said that her car seat was still within warranty. Since the car seat warranty does not cover replacement due to damages from an auto accident, Ms. Ransom was advised to pursue with her auto insurance company. She called Evenflo again on 8/11/2022 to report that her auto insurance company would not reimburse her for a replacement car seat. Evenflo offered a significant discount to Ms. Ransom on the purchase of a replacement car seat, which she accepted. A replacement EveryKid car seat was shipped to her. After receiving your report, Evenflo contacted Ms. Ransom to obtain additional information. She stated that her vehicle was struck broadside at 80-90 mph by a vehicle which failed to stop at a stop sign. The point of impact was directly where the unoccupied car seat was installed in her vehicle. She confirmed that she received the replacement car seat from Evenflo and no longer has the car seat involved in the auto accident. The Evenflo warranty states "For a period of 90 days from the original purchase of this Product, Evenflo warrants to the original end user ("Purchaser") this Product (including any accessories) against defects in material or workmanship."
