Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) Explained The Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) is an indicator on how responsive a company is in addressing and resolving customer complaints brought to their attention by BCA. If they are considering doing business with the company, consumers can use this indicator to forecast the likelihood of having their issues addressed if a problem arises. CRI measures the company's customer satisfaction abilities through BCA’s complaint mediation process.

A variety of factors are considered when calculating CRI. This includes how quickly a company responds to complaints, the number of complaints against a company, whether the company addressed complaint allegations, and the outcome of the complaints. CRI is just a subset of the overall rating for the company. My wife has COPD so getting our home ductwork cleaned was imperative. The company representative, Mr. Martinez, verbally listed a number of tasks to be performed , including cleaning our Air Conditioning duct work. He informed us that the work would take three to four hours and we could not be home while it was being done. We had to call the company three times to get the work scheduled. and when the crew finally showed up they informed us that some of work that was quoted was not to be performed. In addition, we not not home so are not sure the work was completed satisfactorily. Also, the crew was at our home right around two hours, which translated to approximately $640.00 per hour, an enormous over charge for the work that was supposedly done. I have tried a number of times to resolve this matter with the company with a stalling and then no contact result. They were recommended by an on line company, Home Advisor. I also tried to resolve the problem with them and got the same results. It is my hope that these two companies should not be allowed to overcharge and abuse future customers. We are both well into our 80s, retired and can readily understand how a company can abuse a relationship with seniors. Thank you for your concern. Resolution Sought We don't know if a refund is possible in this situation, but would be desired. The main reason for submitting this report is to warn others of these two companies and their questionable business practices.
