I contracted with Exit by Owner to assist my brother and I with getting out of our timeshare. This is their info: Exit By Owner 4700 Millenia Blvd Suite 175 Orlando, FL 32839 OFC: 407-476-2512, FAX: 407-930-9377 - - - I paid them $3000 for the service. The contract started in April 2022. They instructed us to forward all correspondence to them and to not pay the yearly maintenance fee. They have been unresponsive to my inquiries lately. They have received a copy of all correspondence that we have received from our timeshare company. We have now received a letter from a collection agency demanding payment and adding a penalty. Our credit rating is taking a hit and Exit by Owner is not responding. Resolution Sought I would like a refund of our $3000 since they have not fulfilled their commitment and are currently unresponsive.

We have received Mr. Chavez complaint and have spoken to him about his process. We have reminded Mr. Chavez that he signed a two year agreement with us in April of 2022, we just got into the second year of his process, and we are working on his file diligently. Mr. Chavez had previously reached out to the BCA earlier this year and stated that everything was ok as we had made contact with him then.

I have decided to continue working with them and give them an opportunity to fulfill their commitment to me. Having said that, I have a different opinion about how diligently they are working on my file. I hear nothing from them for extended periods of time (months at a time). I have had to initiate contact with them otherwise, I hear nothing. They have contacted me a couple of times after the complaint was filed. I have no idea what it is they are mailing to the timeshare company since they claim that the information is proprietary. This process is all foreign to me. They claim it is normal. I have no idea if it is but, as I indicated, I will allow them to continue.
