I cancelled my membership with xtreme 2 or 3 years ago. I cancelled because they were taking 2 payments a month some months, none other months, and taking their payments on whatever date they wanted. I could not continue to do that living paycheck to paycheck. So i left. I went through the entire long complicated cancellation process correctly and fully. I am now finding out i have continued to be charged and it has gone to collections. I had to change my entire bank account when i left because they were still taking payments months after my full official cancellation. Now i owe collections and will not be paying that. What do i do? Resolution Sought Stop stealing from people and be more honest and allow people to leave.

Company states: This is the first time I have heard about this issue. If he contacted our office directly, I was not made aware of the cancellation. Our system is fully automated and this issue is directly out of our hands. I will ensure to close the account and notify our collections agency to remove him from collections.

I tried to cancel my gym membership and the gym had closed down during covid and left members no way to cancel membership. Once opened back up to cancel was told I had to give them a 30 day notice to cancel and they put a 15 dollar charge on my credit and it has now went to debt collection and is 123.00$.This is complete manipulation. Resolution Sought Take the debt collection off and clear my name of any charges.i did not use their facilities for months.
