I am a cash patient, went to get an exam done, went to the first exam, I didn't know it was an online dr-get the exam done, get the glasses, when I got them, I couldn't see out of them. They stated I just needed to adjust, so I wore them but it felt like it was making it worse. So I went in for a reexam, the dr on the telehealth stated my left eye was worse, I told him there was some dryness, he asked the assistant to clean the lenses of the machine, and once she did, my vision was better, but there was still some issues, so he wanted to do some more test, and referred me to the dr that comes into the office for the additional test. He was referring me to an ophthalmologist. He stated I had to pay $200 for the exam, I told him I had paid already, but because this is a different kind of dr, I would have to pay the additional fee. He stated since they don't have an optometrist that I would have to pay the additional fee. He stated that was the only dr they had they that could do the test. I asked for a printout, and called the other location and asked for fees and codes to see what the cost would be. They stated they didn't do that. I just want to know why I have to pay extra for this kind of exam when I already paid for my exam and glasses. The type of exam I need is in the scope of optometrist, but because they only have an ophthalmologist that goes into office is why they are wanting me to pay the additional fee. Resolution Sought want a refund to get the exam elsewhere
