I purchased movie tickets 12 days ago and got a billing zipcode error when I tried to submit my payment. Went back and resubmitted my request to buy the tickets and was successful. Later, saw two $30 charges for purchase of the movie Enders game, when there should have only been one charge I called customer service and the person I spoke to first tried to blame it on my bank, then he said that the charge was a temporary hold and would clear up within a few hours. It did not. I called again the next day and there was an automated message that mentioned that if you received the billing zipcode error and were double charged, you would be refunded in 3-5 business days, so I didn’t speak to anyone and waited over 5 business days. Still no refund. Have been on hold for over an hour with customer service, which has allowed me the time to post on this website in an attempt to warn people against using Fandango to purchase movie tickets. Not worth the possible hassle, and definitely not worth the "convenience fee" that they add to your order.
