Went to Fayetteville Block to purchase some building materials, at purchase time they told us that they would have to charge for the pallets, 15.00 each but we could bring back for a refund and no mention was made of condition when returned. During construction we needed more supplies which resulted in 3 more pallets. On September 17, 2021 we took back 8 pallets but only got credit for 7 because 1 was missing 1 board, but they still kept that pallet. On September 22, 2021 called about refund and was told l would only get refund for 5 because they didn't charge for 3 through contractor. They said because one was a mortar pallet and the other 2 the person said was maybe brick pallets. Earlier in the conversation l was told they charge for pallets because they get charged for them except l guess for a brick or mortar pallet. They all looked the same to me except the one missing one board which they kept but l am sure they disposed of. It seems kind of fishy to me, the single use customer (me) got charged for every pallet but the contractor, who is a steady customer got charged for no pallets. I stated that they shouldn't charge for pallets but he said they have to because they get charged, but somehow 45.00 worth of pallets left their premises without getting charged for. While talking to a women that works there it sounds like l am not the only one that has had this problem with them. Charge for all or charge for none, that is the only fair and consistent way . Resolution Sought Refund for all 7 pallets that l took over there. It is not my problem if you did not charge for them. I was told bring back pallets and get refund for them. I didn't know there were double standards.

It is our company policy to refund only the pallets that were billed to the customer. The customer was billed for 5 pallets and has been credited in full for 5 pallets.
