I purchased a refrigerator from Sears 7/16/2021 in Black. I also purchased the extended warranty (master warranty) which said, The first year, parts are covered by manufacturer and then the warranty kicks in for 5 additional years. It was not delivered until 8/30/2021. It was delivered with a huge scratch on the front door (out of the box). I called them immediately and they said they would order one for me and it NEVER came (after several follow up calls). The bottom freezer also kept freezing up-they sent out 2 repair guys that neither could figure out why it was freezing up. They did replace the crisper drawers that would not work properly. Now on 5/24, 2024, I noticed the refrigerator was hot. I called to get a repair guy there. They came Tues, May 28, 2024 due to Memorial day holiday. I went an bought a refrigerator thermometer and it would vary in degrees from 58 to 70 in the refrigerator. The repair guy came, saw the issue and said they did not make the parts for it anymore. In the meanwhile, living in the deep south and it being hot AND knowing the Memorial Day weekend was the time to buy appliances, I went to find a new refrigerator and found one in Black, in stock. I went ahead and purchased it because I knew this Sears refrigerator was done. Now, this Federal Warranty people wont reimburse my food loos because no part was ordered. Resolution Sought Reimburse my food items lost AND after that, I want the extended warranty cancelled and me be reimbursed for the unused portion of the extended warranty.
