This company sent me multiple letters saying that my warranty has or was about to expire and that it was time sensitive that I call them and set up a warranty. This was my first time buying a car on my own so I made the mistake of getting a warranty when I already had one. I paid a down payment of $295. When I realized that I already had a warranty, I requested a refund. The company would not give me a refund. Resolution Sought I would like to get a refund of $295.

Please see above for names on the account. Lee is my disable uncle that wanted me to sign on with him to handle the business on the vehicle. This matter was established with Fenix Protect upon sign up. We actually registered the vehicle in both names with no reservations. My car is in for service at Cadillac of Jackson. I talked with the Service Manager (Darrius) and he told me that he spoke with an adjuster at Fenix on yesterday and that he was advised that blown head gaskets due to my car overheating was not covered. I was given a bill from the Service Manager in the amount of $6,073.14 +$355.24 for the diagnostic testing. Please ask the company to call me if they have any questions. Service Contract # WFEN116393 Resolution Sought Just do like they said they would do upon selling me an extended service contract. I was told by the representative upon sign-up, that this contract was better than the original manufacturers warranty.

1/20/2022 – Shop called in battery, fuel pump relay and coolant reservoir hose – All non-listed components. 1/27/2022 – Shop called in a drive belt, additional coolant and a pressure test – All non-listed components. 2/2/2022 – Head gasket left and right side – Gaskets are note listed as stand-alone parts. ...from what we understand, there is nothing wrong with the engine other than a head gasket. This needs to be fixed immediately or he will have other damage subsequently. We are happy to provide repairs per the contract, but will also hold consumers responsible for their portion of the contract.

Consumer states: I am not in agreement with Fenix Protect so call resolve to my reimbursement on this bogus service protection plan. Cadillac of Jackson has pointed the finger at Fenix and Fenix has pointed the finger back at them and I am caught in the middle. I have paid hundreds of dollars to both companies and my car is still inoperable. I feel as though I am due reimbursement from both parties for all the inconvenience they have caused myself and family.
