Feb 11, 2026 opened an account in order to cash a social security check. Deposited 5000 in checking and 568.05 in savings. Was advised the funds would not be available until next day. Next day withdrew 4000 with the SAME CREDENTIALS AS WAS OPENED WITH. No problem. Feb 23, 2026 attempted to withdraw additional 400 and was told the account was frozen. Was told the addresses did not match on ID --- which was from AZ --- and which he knew at the time he opened it and said he would "take care of it" not to worry. I gave further proof at that time of address with a letter from social security, and a letter from Michigan DHS. Then was told that they had to verify the social security check! My name, along with my caregiver's name and the MI address were on the front of that check. What are they verifying? Allegan Resolution Sought Release my monies from both accounts and close them out.

Mr. Byrd does not use words to communicate but he is able to communicate through hand gestures and basic sign language (non-traditional). Alvina Miller, did not accept the interpretations from Mr. Byrd, so i provided him assistance to communicate. I explained the situation and asked for a reasonable accommodation so that i could translate for Mr. Byrd. Alvina Miller refused to provide a reasonable accomodation for Mr.Byrd and instead demanded documentation proving his disability and proof of representative payee. I drove back to my office and retrieved the requested information. Upon my return with the docunetation requested. ALVINA MILLER still refused to allow Mr. Byrd access to his personal account. I explained to Alvina Miller that she was in violation of ADA (AMERICAN WITH DISABILITIES ACT) and thar she was violating his rights by not allowing him access to funds that he would normally use to purchase food and personal items. Instead, she Resolution Sought Return and relinquish Mr. BYRD's funds to him
