I am writing to bring to your attention significant issues regarding the restoration work performed on my property following a recent fire incident. Despite the engagement of a professional fire restoration company, the remediation efforts have been grossly insufficient and negligent, leaving my home in a precarious and unlivable state. **Key Issues Noted Post-Restoration:** 1. **Exterior Concerns:** - The porch lights are non-functional; existing fixtures were disposed of carelessly, resulting in damage and loss of parts. - Siding and trim around the house, including near the roof where fire damage was evident, remain unreplaced. - The main entrance and deck are partly restored, with missing sideboard facing boards making it difficult to operate the front door. 2. **Interior Deficiencies:** - The ceiling replacement is mismatched, stained, and parts are falling due to improper installation. - Essential fixtures like vents for the air conditioning are missing or damaged; some were erroneously discarded. - Trim boards, particularly in the primary bedroom and children's rooms, are either broken, missing, or merely painted over without replacement. - The kitchen and closets lack proper finishing; no efforts were made to replace or repair ceiling tiles, nor were these areas cleaned or painted. 3. **General Negligence:** - The property was left with visible damaged insulation and without essential light fixtures, forcing. Resolution Sought Pay for only work completed that was done up to standard. Pay me the money for all damaged and list items. I would not even give them 1 star. This has been a night mare.
