BCA's Summary and Analysis:

Complainants allege the company sells puppies and dogs infected with Parvo virus or other diseases, resulting in death of the animal, or additional medical costs for the buyers. Customers also complain they experience difficulty with obtaining refunds or exchanges of the sick animals. Several customers allege the company owner diagnoses, treats, and prescribes medication for sick animals without required certification or licensing by the Board of Veterinary examiners. A few complainants allege the company fails to provide AKC registration papers as agreed at the time of the purchase. One complainant alleges her pet was shaved hairless when left for grooming. Another alleges she thought she had purchased a Maltese puppy, but found out later it was a mixed breed.

The company responds to most complaints by disputing the allegations, refusing refunds, and claiming that negligence on the part of the pet owner was the cause of the sick animals.
