First this is not just a rental, it is a lease purchase and if we couldn't buy within said time frame it would revert to month to month lease. The lease that we signed was never given to us and the lease they are showing is NOT what we signed. Property management company lied on application for government assistance, filed for Eviction at a lower level court not once but twice, submitted arrears to collection agency and didn't notify them when they were paid $15,000 by ERAP program. They have now taken it to county court on the basis of owing money for court cost and late fees that should have been submitted to ERAP. We have to carry extra insurance because house has solar panels, but the owner controls everything, which allows him to get the monies generated. Resolution Sought Either allow us to stay and wipe the amount they are saying we owe that we don't or give us our money back with interest so that we can move because they have done NOTHING as far as repairs needed because "we are buying". We have had to do what is needed. They ruined my credit score so we can't get a mortgage now.

Consumer states; That is correct it is now going through court but that is because we didn't purchase the home in the time they wanted us to so they are charging $160+ per day for "hold over" and tried to take it thru the wrong courts not once but 3 times and expects me to pay for the legal fee for filing it incorrectly. This rental company is nothing but a rip off and has been since the beginning!
