I went there in December with the car issue. I advise them that the state will be taking over for the payments. I asked them for an estimate so that I can submit that to the state. Then submitted the request through the state. After about two months, I finally got a response from the state saying they were going to send the shop a check for the amount that it would take to fix my car. I called the shop I informed them. they held the check for weeks I called the shop and expressed that the check was from the state and that if if they tried to cash it without me I would have to report it to the state at that point the owner of the business then stated we won't be doing business with the state however, they knew originally that they were doing business with the state I believe that there is something illegal going on here. Also, I believe he has illegal immigrants working for him. Resolution Sought I would like a refund I had to pay out-of-pocket because they wouldn't allow the check.

However, the proper steps were not taken to notify us that a claim was going to be placed for the transaction. When we received the check at first we were going to return it because it arrived wit the name of the shop and the customer but the amount of the check that was sent was not the amount the customer paid for out of pocket in the beginning. A claim was filed using the shops name without us signing the proper paperwork we advise her that if she was not going to use the remaining amount on our shop then we would returned if she agreed to the terms plus we made a check to her refunding it. she agreed to the terms out of pocket using her debit credit card in the amount of $630.00. She cashed the check right away. This matter has being settled with the customer.
