There was an advertisement on Facebook where they were looking for 49 people to join an exercise class. It told of the company which was Anytime Fitness. I went to one of the two meetings they had, basically you signed a contract but they didn't make that 100 clear. I didn't even know it till I went to resign from the activity. I am 75 years old female with two knee replacements and my left hip replaced. I had an injection in my right hip in February of this year for pain. I decided I should not be doing this after I started having pain shortly after I signed it. I called the place of business and told them I wanted to cancel because of my health issues I started having. He said well you will have to get a doctor's note to be able to be dismissed. I thought that was ridiculous but I did it, My orthopedic doctor said I needed to be dismissed because of my health And then it was not okay for me to do it. I presented that to the man the next day. Before I left the building he said you will have to call this number and let them know. He said it's our corporate office. So the next day I called and he was very rude to me when I told him he told me I would have to get a second doctor's note that had my doctors license number on it. Omg! He sent me a paper that I had to take back to my doctor and have him write this information on the paper and then I was to send that letter back to him certified mail. You talk about harassment I have had it with this company! Later I got an email . Resolution Sought His email said "If" they approve it they might not get to it for another 30 days. I want my $69 back that I paid and the cost of the certified letter which was $9 That was totally uncalled for I could have emailed it back to him. This is about the most unprofessional place I have ever dealt with in my life. Thank you for your help in this matter. Sincerely, Barbara Parr
