Hired Fix It! on October 25, 2021 to prepare a 39 x 60 shower for slab walls. Fix It! completed part of the work in a faulty and incomplete manner. The slab company told me what needed to be fixed and Fix It! sent someone to correct the issues but made them even worse. The slab contractor had to completely demo Fix It!s work and redo the walls and tile. Fix It! has not completed the remaining 50 of his contract and refuses to pay the damages that had to be repaired Resolution Sought I am requesting that Fix It! (Mike Ijah) send me a check or direct deposit $3000. to cover the cost of having the work redone and the work that now has to be completed by another contractor. Hopefully without either of having to go to court to correct it.

This particular job was preformed at Mr. Wozneys contractual request and at the end of each section, before progress payment, Mr. Wozney was asked to inspect. Thursday evening Mr. Wozney sent me a 3:30pm text that the Subwalls where not level enough for the company placing stone. We immediately responded by showing up the next morning, friday at 7am. Utilizing level, plumb line, squares, mastic and red gard to perfectly level wall. Again Mr. Wozney was asked to inspect and confirm satisfaction. Over the weekend and by Monday Mr. Wozney informed me that he elected to have our work removed and paided another company to do the work already preformed by us. And that be wanted $3,000 back from us to pay for the worked he had now contract with another. To this Fix It! said "no". Consequently, Fix It! is willing to be 100% responsible for the quality of it's work. However, if the client doesn't give Fix It! the opportunity to correct any percieved problem, in this case leveling of Subwalls. But rather ask that Fix It! pay for the clients independent decision to go with another company. Fix It! had no involvement with the surprised, independent decision that Mr. Wozny made o er the weekend. And hence feel no responsiblity to reimburse him for his decision.
