To actually be fair to the customer better the customer service educate them on what excellent customer service is!
I called about my car payment and ask about the skip a payment because my husband job was reduced his hours because of covid-19. I was to call back closer to my due date so I did. I spoke to a representative and he asked my alot of the same questions and I told him after he continued to ask the same question that he should just go back over the notes in my account. He clearly didn't do so and processed to play me a recording of how they will add fees to my skip a pay. After I been with them for a few never late or missed a payment. Honestly I want this to be posted because flagship isn't a fair company and they charge just to make your payment.. Don't not purchase from them! They are horrible. I should have left after my car payment came up missing and I had to pay to get a copy showing they cash the money order! Stay away from flagship!

The customer service you are describing is outside of Flagship's expectations. However, please note that Flagship does not charge additional fees when granting an extension. The recording we believe you are referring to advised that you have a simple interest loan which accrues interest on a daily basis, including during the extension period. It further explained that once you resumed making payments, they would first be applied to accrued and unpaid interest and then to principal. We would be happy to discuss any additional questions you may have regarding this.
