My family and I have been struggling under the weight of this timeshare with Boardwalk. Despite paying $162.21 monthly towards a loan balance of $9,433.10 – along with recurring maintenance fees – we can barely make ends meet. While my maintenance fees are covered for now, the new billing cycle in November 2025 looms over us. On top of that, we were previously blindsided by a $700 charge with only one week's notice. This expense wasn't disclosed when we purchased the timeshare, and I was told after calling that it was mandatory. What's also frustrating is how little we can actually use the timeshare. We're allowed one week every other year, yet we're consistently paying out more money than we can afford. It seems unreasonable to keep investing in something we can't use, especially when we can't even afford to go on vacation. This situation has placed us in a financial crisis. The strain has doubled our bills and impacted every area of our lives. My son almost couldn't return to college, and I can't afford to visit my elderly mother. The mounting financial stress has cost us sleep and left us trapped in a cycle we can't escape. I am desperate to cancel this timeshare before the financial burden worsens and my family's hardships multiply any further. Resolution Sought I am asking for Boardwalk to reconsider their denial to allow us to cancel our ownership and provide a resolution so I can finally walk away from this obligation.
