August 3rd Sean the owner came to our house with his brother and sons. When we hired him he never mentioned it was his family helping work on our basement. He charged us over 7000 to fix another contractors work. He was only at my house for 2 1/2 days and left without completing finishing the work. I pointed out areas the day before he left that I wanted fixed. On Friday August 6th when I went to do the final walk through I noticed he never fixed the areas I wanted fixed . And left underneath my butcher block counter top unfinished. I should have never paid him without it being fixed . But between his work and his young kids work I literally didn't want them to touch anything else. They banged up work including my drop ceiling that I just had done and walls around the area we had him fix. I'm requesting 1000 because since August 6th my husband has been sanding painting and re drywalling . When I pointed out to him areas that weren't finished he told me my husband can find certain materials at lowes . Why would we need to pay more on materials or spend time fixing everything that he was supposed to do?! Resolution Sought I would like 1000 back for damage, time spent needing to fix and clean up the areas he left dirty, unfinished or damaged . And having to go out and by more materials
