I placed an order with Flooring RVA on May 29th, since then I have not heard from them despite repeated attempts to get ahold of them. I had informed them on May 29th a few hours after placing the order that I would most likely be cancelling my order; however, I did not hear back from them. I contacted Synchrony Bank during this time frame and informed them that any attempt that Flooring RVA made to gather payment would be fraudulent. It was not until I called the showroom on June 7th and told them that I wanted to completely cancel my order that I heard back from anyone. What followed could best be described as intimidation and, I hate to say bullying, by the store owner. He held me on the phone for 45 minutes and told me that my order could not be returned to Mohawk (the maker of the flooring) and that the invoice provided was my contract. I was never given any terms and conditions or explained anything about my flooring. I do distinctly remember the salesperson stating that the only thing that would have to be specialty ordered from Mohawk would be the stair pieces. I am basically being backed into a corner where I will have to pay $9,200 for work that I fear will be less than desirable because of the conversation and interactions I have had with the company. I am desperate for some help. This is the 1st house I am buying by myself and I am already getting screwed over with the flooring. I was never told an install date or if the product had even been ordered because Resolution Sought I just want the charges to me credit card refunded and to never have to deal with them again.
