We applied for New construction service and paid the 14,000.35 to bring power to the home that was back in December, we were told the project would start in January about the third week, that didn't happen, they just came out to install poles Feb 11th, then the tech came out and said we needed to be sure that the connection from the meter to the underground plumbing for the wire was connected before FPL came out to install the meter and wire , I called my electrician and he said he would be out the same day to have it done. The FPL tech said if it's not done and "my Guys" come out tomorrow there just going to leave and it will be 4 weeks before we can get someone out to you again. I said are you guys coming tomorrow he said more then likely I said okay my electrician will be here that same day to complete it. My electrician came , we took a picture and sent it to the project manager and he said they would be out tomorrow meaning 2/22/25 FPL was a no show nor a no call, my husband called and Texted the project manager manager Beau Stump to see where FPL was but we got no answer. The next day my husband called and he said the would be out the following day or Friday 2/28. Still till this day 3/3 FPL has not been out to complete the install of the meter or the wire that needs to go from the pole to meter. Seems like they were quick to get the funds but now that they have collected the funds they don't care about their customers to complete the job. This is so frustrating !! Resolution Sought Complete the job asap in order to have power in our home
