Traveled from West Columbia to Norway, SC to purchase a Club Cadet LTX 1050 50" Cut Riding Lawnmower on 9/28/21. Paid Mr. Fogle $1,150.00 in cash. Got home, cut a small path, Lawnmower cut off and it will not crank. I notified Mr Fogle, he was rude because I mentioned gas money to bring it back, there is no warranty on his equipment, which is not on invoice nor was I advised of that at purchase, & that he had been in business 50yrs, said he would talk to his mechanic. My neighbor looked it over, found blown fuse, replaced, it blew again & will not crank. I was hoping that would fix it but it didn't & I did not want anything done until Mr. Fogle made this transaction right. I waited a couple of weeks in hopes he would listen & help me since I just purchased so I called Mr. Fogle again. He was nice and stated he would talk to his mechanic, again. I also advised that it seems to be the wiring, electrical due to the household wiring nuts and blown fuses. He said he would return my call, making sure he had my number. I have called several times, no answer. I tried calling again on 11/22 pm & 11/23 am, no answer, no mailbox set up or full. This is absolutely the worst business transaction I have ever made with someone that does not stand behind their business, their equipment, Selling Faulty equipment, Rude owner, & will not even talk to you, help you, or try to resolve issue. I am a single disabled woman, on SSI, I can't fix it, out of money, & I feel ashamed & scammed.
Resolution Sought
At this point, since owner of business will not communicate or fix, I know it's an Electrical issue due to neighbor & house wire nuts on it, someone has been working on wiring, evidently not a professional, nothing of this was disclosed to me, can't cut my lawn, sitting in shop, out of $1,150.00, & I have no where to turn at this point. I need assistance in returning Lawnmower to get a refund on faulty equipment being sold. Thank you in advance!
