I'm a tail installer, this company haired me to do a job for them by a guy calls Derek, I did my job as we agreed but the last payment didn't pay me which is almost 3500 $. They had an issue with the customer because they were not a professional communication with them and some other issues So the customer didn't pay them the last payment as they says, but this is not my problem if it's true because of course I deal with them not with the customers. So that's why they says we don't pay you if the customers don't pay us. It's been more than 2 months now. They caused me a big damage actually because I worked almost one month for free. Pls I need your help to get my money from them Resolution Sought I need to get my money from them

Omar was paid $5,000 for a job that he did not complete to satisfaction. His install didn't meet industry standards and caused the customer to withhold payment. Specifically, he didn't use cement board under marble tile, he used sanded grout on a polished marble surface which scratched it badly, and he did not level the subfloor to customers satisfaction. If the job had been completed correctly, I would have had no problem paying more to Omar. But because his improper install caused us to lose the job, I cannot pay more than the $5,000 he was already paid. He made much much more money on the job than I did by a long shot. We lost money on it when it should have been one of the best jobs of the year. My paying him the $5,000 was more than fair and the fact that he wants more is absurd! I have plenty of correspondence with the customer that proves the reason they canceled payment and we lost the job was due to his faulty workmanship. He did not complete the installation correctly. The customer clearly states why they canceled and it's 100 due to improper install. Tiles are cracking, tiles are scratched, floor is not level.
