I purchased a part (7L3Z-17683-AE) for my vehicle (2011 Ford F150) and it arrived broken. The part ordered is a driver side tow mirror. The glass in the mirror does not stay affixed to the housing upon receipt of the item. With a piece of glass that does not stay attached, the item is defective and unusable. FordPartsGiant also carries the replacement mirror that is the defective part. All they need to do is send that part and I can install the glass and it should work as intended. I reached out to the customer service group and after responding to their requests, they are refusing to honor a return because the part is not an exact match for my VIN. I am fully aware of that, and the higher trim model does accept that part number. Just because a VIN does not list a part as an exact match, does not mean it will not fit. I'm not even disputing that it doesn't fit... I'm trying to get my issue resolved because the item arrived broken/defective and unuseable. Not sure how that relates to the VIN fitment. I'm now stuck with a worthless $250+ part that I cannot use and the company will not rectify. I've asked them to send the replacement glass part as the first solution or a full replacement for the second solution. At this point I either want me money back or the replacement glass. I do not trust this company any further to not send me more defective parts. Resolution Sought A refund of the amount to purchase the replacement glass that is defective (around $50). I don't trust the company sending me a new part and to return it, I the aggrieved get hit with paying the return shipping, which is probably more that the replacement glass would cost.

Counter Points: 1. Customer accepted the return policy when they purchase the merchandise 2. Fedex has delivered the merchandise. 3. Our website clearly shows customer ordered wrong parts. Customer accepted the return policy when he/she placed the order CF43457184 on 11/2/2023. The merchandise was delivered by Fedex on 11/4/2023. The customer requested an RMA to return the order on 11/8/2023 due to the merchandise is defective. We request customer provide photos on 11/8/2023. Base on the photos customer provided, there is no damage. Customer would like process defective, however base on the VIN number customer provided, part not fit for customer's car. Since customer ordered wrong parts, we cannot process warranty. And the part is not returnable due to our return policy (- An electrical part or has electrical components -It has been installed, altered, used, or otherwise no longer in brand new condition.)

Response: 1. so you ship a damaged item and the customer just has to "accept it"? 2. Nobody has disputed the delivery of an item; i've clearly sent you photos showing i have the item 3. The part fits a 2011 ford f150, in a high trim model, it will still fit a lesser trim model. I've already ordered the passenger side from a different online retailer and installed it and guess what.. IT FITS. The VIN has nothing to do with the item being received defective. Whether it is the wrong part shouldn't matter when the item arrived damaged. How can you look at the photos and not see the damage, the upper mirror is CLEARLY separated from the housing upon receipt. As I've stated from the beginning of this.. you shipped me a damaged product. What am I supposed to do when you ship out damaged merchanise and then hide behind excuse after excuse about why it cannot be resolved. You're a shady company that apparently has very little concern about sending out damnage merchandise. I'll be sure to share my experience with FordPartsGiants to all of the various car/truck clubs that I'm a memeber of and that buyer needs to beware as you will not stand behind when you ship out damaged merchandise.

I ordered a part off of fordpartsgiant website on May 17 using the make model of my vehicle. It was supposed to be the front emblem nameplate for my Lincoln. However, what I received was one of the smaller emblems for the side. I notified the company of this via the return section on their website, they asked for pictures of the part in the packaging which I sent And what I received back from them was that I was not eligible for a return for the return policy since it's below $20 they are denying me a return or a refund. This company is a scam company and they do not know how to offer customer service is definitely lacking do not order from this company. They are not legit I will never ordered from them again and I do not recommend ordering from this company. Resolution Sought I expect a refund for the part because I know that they can refund it, but they keep bringing up their policy. I'm sure they do this to everybody is it too hard to offer refund it's probably just within a part credit not gonna cost them a penny.
