In June of 2024 my brother's account was deliquiate, a VA payee paid the account current and then closed the account. The veteran wanted the account to be kept open in case he returned home. But Forted Deer Electric do not recognize POA's but would take money for anyone paying to reopen the account only that person had to open the account in their name, which changed the name on the account. My complaint is when attempting to explain this situation to Ms. Mary Blake, she refused to listen, spoke over me, yelling, accusing me of harassing her for attempting to explain the problem, and how the name on his property should not have been changed from the beginning just to receive a new deposit. Which now they refused to return to him, because I am the spokesperson for my ill veteran brother and Forked deer does not recognize POA. Since last year after the name was changed until March of 2025, when I had to beg my sister to close the account. A copy of applying for guardianship was sent to her, the approved copy is in the mail. As someone in management she rude, hostile, and short tempered to be a senior manager. If you don't recognize POA they should not have received any payment or change the name on the account in order to get a new deposit. Resolution Sought I would like a verbal apology from Ms. Blake and the total deposit sent to me. Since I made every payment by credit card, not the person who should have paid the bill. They change the name and address in order to get a new deposit.
