Bought a 2013 Ford Edge SEL on Nov 11, 2021. Along with my car payment I purchased a 2 year extended warranty which I pay $39 a month added to my car payment. Check engine soon light came 2 days after I had it. They turned it out it keeps coming on car runs worse everyday. Might be catalytic problem not sure. They had my car 2 weeks 1 day done nothing but diagnosis a cam problem, #1 cylinder isn't firing needs a new engine . The warranty people wanted maintenance record between when I purchased and my last oil change with them. They sent me an oil change notice. I had to Email them a copy of my oil change from purchase between then an there oil change. I Emailed it. I call twice a day everyday about my car they keep saying they are waiting to hear from warranty department. Meanwhile senior citizen 74 yrs old no transportation, cant get my scripts, or the doctors or even to grocery store. I need my car fixed. I think they're taking advantage of me I BOUGHT A WARRANTY WHY WON'T THEY HONOR IT. I bought it for just such like this and now they don't wanna do anything. HELP ME PLEASE. Resolution Sought The diagnosis is my car needs a new engine or fix the one I have, which they said they can't because they're not sure of total problem. Damion is the gentleman in service I have been working with but his boss spoke to me Thursday and explain the whole problem to me. Said he'd get in touch with the warranty people again but still no results. It's probably cheaper to put in a new one than repair this one. Either way I want my car fix per warranty.
