I've been rescuing Strays and feral cats at my house for 18 years and I asked APL for help and I surrendered three cats to them which they came to my house and they took the wrong cat that I was not sending. They snuck it in a cage and rushed it to the van and took off with it just becuase he was friendly and I had to fight tooth and nail to get that cat back.. that cat had been to three homes and came back to me with behavioral problems and that's why I was keeping him.. they tried to say that he was in bad shape when they took him with worms and loaded with fleas and no he was not because I treat the cats every month with a flea viles and they do not have worms or I would see it in their poop. Not to mention they eat only cat food and healthy diet on a daily basis. Then I surrendered one of my white cats to them and I had a friend that adopted him and he came back to my house sick making all the rest of my cats in the house sick with some kind of cold epidemic and I had to administer Sub-Q fluids to some of the cats that were not eating or drinking for 3 days and give them antibiotics. In 18 years I've been doing this I have never seen such a thing happen as this epidemic. The white cat also had sores on his neck and they butchered him when they neutered him such as I have never seen in all the years that I've been having these cats neutered and spayed...they had very nasty attitudes and demanded that I don't take in any more cats like it's their business what I do.
