Bought defective accent rugs from Gabe's. When I finally started to use them, they started shedding and as a result, I was picking up handfuls of materials from the runners. The store doesn't want to take responsibility for defective merchandise. I just simply wanted to exchange the runners or receive a store credit. I tried to return the items after their Christmas cut off date of 1/19/25 but I explained that the purchase wasn't a Christmas return it was a defective merchandise return. I didn't start using the items right away so I had them for a month or so after their Christmas cut cut off date for Christmas returns. I emailed the corporate office and they left the decision at the discretion of the store manager which was useless because that's why I contacted the customer complaint department because I didn't get any results from the store in which I tried to return the items. They have my money and I have merchandise that I can't use. Resolution Sought I would like the business to take responsibility for selling defective merchandise and be accountable for their defective merchandise.
