I am filing this complaint against Gametime regarding a ticket purchase I made in 2024 for a Myke Towers concert that did not take place as expected. I purchased the tickets through Gametime, making them the responsible merchant for this transaction. However, I have been denied a refund under the justification that the event has been "postponed" to the year 2099. I believe this is completely unreasonable and unfair. A postponement date set decades into the future is not a legitimate alternative to a cancellation, and it effectively prevents customers from receiving refunds for an event that, in practical terms, is not taking place. When I contacted Gametime for a resolution, their proposed solution was for me to relist the tickets for sale on their platform. This is not a realistic or acceptable solution, as it is highly unlikely that anyone would purchase tickets for an event scheduled in 2099. Additionally, after purchasing the tickets, I transferred them to my fiancée. Since then, Ticketmaster has disabled (greyed out) the transfer option, preventing her from transferring the tickets back to me or taking any action with them. This has left us completely unable to use, manage, or resell the tickets in any meaningful way. Gametime has repeatedly redirected responsibility to Ticketmaster, despite Ticketmaster confirming that I must resolve this issue with Gametime as they were the point of purchase. This ongoing back-and-forth has left me without a re Resolution Sought I am requesting a full refund of the total amount paid for these tickets to my original form of payment. This event has effectively not taken place, and the current "postponement" to 2099 is not a reasonable alternative. I also request written confirmation once the refund has been processed.
