The employee wouldn't sell me items for the advertised price.

I went in to the store to purchase loose rolling tobacco and tubes and a couple packs of cigarettes. The sign for the cigarettes was $7.00 they rang up for more than that. I then told him that the sign says that they are only 7 dollars. He (the cashier) said so they changed price a couple of days ago. but we haven't changed it yet. I then told him he had to honor the advertised price. He then said no I don't. I said yes it's the law. He just stared at me. Then he said you're right. He then took everything off the counter. I then asked him, so now you're not going to sell me anything. He said nope, I'm not.
I asked him his name and he refused to give me it. I then called the police and they told me that it was a civil matter and they couldn't do anything.
This happened on 11/12/19 between 6 to 630. I want the guy fired. I want compensation for having to go without. Time to find a place that sells loose rolling tobacco products. I still haven't found any nearby. I have limited access to travel. My time is valuable just like everyone else is. I shouldn't have had to go through that.
