I'm an employee of cricket wireless and 3 days in a row I have tried to port a customer over to our service and gen mobile keeps lying and saying there is no way they can release the number. They are telling us we have to wait several days for in to complete. It does not work like that they said yesterday at midnight that it would be done well our system closed it out and had to redo it today and they are saying it won't be done until tomorrow night now.. our system will close this out and make us redo the whole process over an over. Every carrier has a manual release when it comes to porting. They are flat out lying and holding customers hostage not allowing them to transfer from their service. This is a major issue. Our port dept even contacted them and told them that there is no hold on the number and that it's been cleared for porting and they still are saying there is nothing they can do.. this is not normal business practice and needs to be dealt with. This is not okay by any means when a customer wants their info and wants to leave a company and they are literally being held there by that company means this place needs to be shut down and put out of business it's absolutely ridiculous what they are doing and the problems they are causing for their customers and other businesses.
