My husband and I bought and signed an agreement to enter into a timeshare with GEOHoliday and Sapphire Resorts. There have been so many falsehoods about this timeshare from what we were told by their sales agents. Just some of the things we were told we could benefit from having this timeshare was this being a great investment, it would be easy for us to sell or rent out, told the value of owning a timeshare would increase in profits, told we would be getting the best timeshare package and could travel anywhere. All of these were lies and we found out when it was too late. This will be passed down to our kids and we were not told that the maintenance fees would constantly increase. Our family cannot afford to keep this timeshare and due to both our work schedules, continuing with this timeshare is not beneficial. I am ex-military with the Army and an RN and with my schedule, traveling is limited. We have reached out to the company and addressed our problems while asking to be removed, but they have not provided a solution to our problems. We hope this consumer group would be able to intervene and reach out to our timeshare on our behalf. Resolution Sought We wish to no longer be responsible for the timeshare obligations and would like to be released and money refunded.

We have tried to use our GEO Holiday timeshare multiple times but have always been unable to due to it always being booked. Unfortunately, this has led us to cancel planned vacations and miss out on quality time with our family. After careful consideration, we have decided that we would be better off financially without the timeshare. We want to be able to focus more on supporting our daughter as she attends Texas Tech and pursues her dreams. Having additional funds available would allow us to provide her with more opportunities and experiences. We have realized that there are other vacation alternatives available to us that do not involve worrying about the availability of our timeshare. We believe that it is in our best interest to cancel the timeshare and explore other options for our future vacations. Resolution Sought Cancellation of timeshare.
