I has this trash company since November. I have called a few times because my trash wasn't picked up on the scheduled Thursday, multiple times this occurred over the months. Sometimes it was picked up on Friday. I was totally passed over before and had no trash picked up in a week. I have always paid the bill on time, never received any credit on my bill for my trash not being picked up on its scheduled day which was Thursday. I got tired of calling and asking for my trash to be picked up on the scheduled day. My trash was picked up on Thursday maybe once a month. It was ridiculous! I gave them one last chance to pick my trash up on the scheduled Thursday but again it wasn't! So I finally canceled my service on August 8th because the week before my trash wasn't picked up on Thursday. I got a bill for $93.52 I didn't pay because I no longer had their service and that was even more than I had paid all the previous months, which was normally $84.52. I had called told them I'm not paying anymore, canceled the service on August 8th because they didn't pick my trash up once again the week before. I got a collection letter from a collection agency around August 19th. So they sent me to collections for something I don't owe, haven't had my trash picked up on scheduled day in months when i did have theur service, and have canceled service. That letter said I Owed $93.52 dated August 16th. Now in September I get another bill from GFL saying I owe $57.89. THIS IS RIDICULO Resolution Sought Take care of this "balance" of $57.89. Take care of the claim to the collection agency literally sent a week after I canceled service. I do not owe this company all the different amounts they keep changing. I want my "balance" to reflect 0 owed.

Gfl is buying up companies and having customers sign contracts..the shady part is, they will say oh the terms and conditions knowing that most customers don't because it's usually filled with various jargon that most people don't understand. What they don't mention till after you sign it is that you are locked into a five year contract!! So basically this company can do whatever they want and have the monopoly on the garbage industry and charge whatever they want and because customers are locked into a contract - they have no choice. Resolution Sought Give me a Month to month contract. I always pay my bills.
