I paid Gill Security $2916.43 for an alarm system. I was sold a piecemeal system with banned cameras. I asked to have cameras moved. Cameras are mounted so low one you need a small ladder the other just reach up. Techs and electrician said no. I asked to have bright lights on the cameras turned off. They couldn't do that. Insisted I buy more cameras. The keypad is outdated no panic buttons and no manual for the system. Deleted password on monitor permanently said I didn't need one. So much for security. System was not set up to view cameras on cell phone. On 30 Dec 21 I sent a letter asking for a refund. No reply. 3 day later my house was vandalized right under one of the cameras. I emailed HIKVISION in CA and the "serial numbers I provided didn't match any cameras sold in North America thru an authorized dealer" also stated that the cameras were probably purchased off EBAY or Amazon, HIKVISION emailed me stating they had no record of Gill Security being an authorized dealer. Gill Security updated their website after I asked for a refund. $2900.00 and no doorbell camera, said it would cost $300.00. I would not recommend this company to anyone. This company is unresponsive and not trustworthy. Resolution Sought I want a refund of $1700.00 for the 2 HIKVISION cameras that are banned in this country. I also want Gill Security to cancel my 2 year contract.

Company called stating they will be picking up equipment on 05/19/2022 and as long as the equipment is in the same condition when it was initially installed, they will refund customer $1740.85 and will be canceling her service contract as requested.
