Beware: Does not tolerate calling 911 police, DuPage County IL leases are enforcable only 30 d m to m violating IL law
This is actually a nice complex with very large apartments the size of the old small houses back in the 1960s. However, the renters have become rough and I was barricaded in the laundry room for 4 hours by a male immigrant in a high immigration due to low housing cost part of the Chicago suburbs with reasonable train to Chicago most people take daily. The person sounded like he was on drugs, did not violently assault me directly, but would not allow me to leave until I called 9/11 with a cell phone also like the person was on drugs due to lack of assault of a barricaded victim. I was held against my will like that until the Glen Elly police came and talked the person into allowing me to get my wet laundry due to the person and leave. His only real focus was opening up the washing machines per him by holding me for 4 hours during which time I could have finished my laundry in the first 30 minutes of, but would not allow me to unload my laundry and leave either until I called 9/11 and the police came in Oct of 2014. The apartment manager then cut off all services including the laundry room, and when I sought remedy, terminated my lease without notice where state law is 60 days notice. Their attorney told me I verified DuPage County IL has a local "ruling" that the 'state law is ridiculous" and can't be enforced so that victims of this find out without notice in the rampant DuPage County IL contract fraud by attorneys for attorneys where local courts explode at you if you go in Pro Se about things like this which is also against the law but attorneys here as with that apartments tell victims to "try to sue me" in local collusion that make them able to illegally and here not put that fact on leases neither I nor anybody else would sign because we wouldn't sign or rent here. Its not clear what deadly crime I committed with the 9/11 call so I could leave the laundry room and someone on drugs or mentally ill, after 4 hours, but the rage at the "no harm" to me and my calling police cost me over $7000 in damages from being forced to abruptly find housing, pack and move in 30 days including forcing massive "No harm' work absences they do here as "no harm". The only option you have is refusing to rent in DuPage and stay with bordering Cook where you can also call attorneys in the phone book who can walk into any court for reasonable expense at fraction of rents, to enforce state law for you DuPage will not allow.
