I became a part of this program because I wanted to travel. But when I joined, I was looking to make travel plans, well, Called their travel agency, no one answered, so I called their office and they said you have to call their TA when they are open or go online, so I went online and tried to book, and every time I type a place like California or SC, or New York, the areas available sent me to India and other places I was not interested in going to. Well I called their customer service and spoke with a gentleman, and he was so rude to me on the phone, so I asked if someone can help me and the guy sent me to a woman who is head of their department, and I told her what was happening, she said go on it everyday and see. Which I did, but same thing, they sent to places like India and places I don't want to go to. Pandemic was kind of hard, so could not pay, then around march of 2022. I was reading about the class action suit Illinois filed against them, which people also filed a case to have them removed from Illinois.
I called and told I dont want to be a member anymore, they said once you sign up you can not cxl.
The head lady told me on the phone you signed up, you gotta pay. So I told her I was struggling, she said, well we can not help you, get your friends and family to help you. I told her my family and friends are struggling too. She said you signed an agreement.
I was confused, because at the presentation they said this is not a timeshare
