Customer Complaint

I applied for an apartment online on 12/05/22 paid $20. A computer glitch attached my application to the wrong apartment. I called and was told via ai that I have to email them. No none to talk too! I emailed on 12/06/22. Did not receive response. So I filled another application with the correct address because it's first come, first serve. Paid another $20 application fee. 12/07 I received a response and was told that I only need to fill out 1 application so they will cancel second application for the apartment I wanted because they cannot change to correct address on the first application 12/5/22. Also told there is no refund and I excepted this when I paid. Why do they get to keep the application fee if they canceled it and are not using the $20 to process my application? $40 for 1 application? I want my $20 back. This is thievery. Resolution Sought I want my $20 back.

Company states: I am the Associate General Counsel for Goldfarb Properties. I write in response to the above reference. Please be advised that one of the two $20 application fees has been refunded. We believe this should close out the matter.
