I applied for an apartment. The leasing manager explained to me verbally the application fee is 50 and there would be another fee of $199 refundable after being denied. My card was charged $250 immediately. I was told by Candace the leasing manager that my $199 would be released 7-10 business days. I applied for this apartment February 17th. The 10th business day was March 3, 2023. No refund never reached my account. I called Golfview apartments and Candace the leasing manager changed what she said to "it could take up to 30 days. March 17th is a whole month from February 17th. She then apologized and said I'm sorry I didn't tell you and if it takes that long it's an issue. I still have not heard anything or received my $150. Resolution Sought I would like for them to give me my $199 that was promised as a refund if apartment application was denied. It was denied and I'm entitled to get my money I worked hard for. They stole my money.
