I was lied to by Freedom Forever. They had me sign on my IPad giving them permission to put panels on my roof. I had never heard of Goodleap until I started getting bills from them. I printed out the 41 page contract and found that I had signed for Goidleao to lock me into a 25 year loan. I am 77 years old. I would never have done that, had I known. I was lied to and pressured into signing something I had no idea about. Resolution Sought Trash the predatory contract.

In 2021 I brought my first home. I was interested in Solar to help with my power bill. I am a single mom with a child who has disabilities so every penny I can save to help put towards his future I makes a difference. Two people from titan solar came to my house and told me about how solar would help me save money on my energy. I was able to buy the solar panels with a loan through goodleap. Titan solar would supply the panels. Well for a year I was only paying 110 towards my panels, they were working then. No bill from NV energy. That changed as I would get a bill from NV energy first only a little and now 200+ dollars a month plus 160 now towards my loan with goodleap. I have been scammed I feel and now Titan has filed bankruptcy, I have panels that seem to not be working A high energy bill from NV energy and paying on a 37000 dollar loan on a product that is not working Resolution Sought I would like the panels taken off my house and I do not want to pay on a loan for a product that is not working.

To Whom it May Concern, GoodLeap is in receipt of the complaint filed by Olivia Raynor (Olivia) on August 21, 2024, with the Business Consumer Alliance (BCA), regarding the installation of a solar system by Titan Solar Power (Titan). In summary, Olivia expressed dissatisfaction with the service Titan provided and/or will now be unable to provide as they are no longer in business. Please note, GoodLeap operates separately and independently from Titan. GoodLeap is the lender for the solar system purchase; we are neither the seller nor the installer. As such, GoodLeap cannot confirm nor refute any claims made by any sales representatives for Titan. According to our records, Olivia’s solar system was installed by Titan on January 13, 2022. After installation, the system is subject to final inspection and then the local utility company approves and grants the system permission to operate. Olivia’s system was granted permission to operate by their local utility company on March 24, 2022. It is our understanding; the system has been producing since obtaining permission to operate, as GoodLeap was not previously made aware of any system performance issues. Olivia’s concerns were escalated to our Client Support Management team for investigation and resolution. As a result of the review of Beverly’s concerns, GoodLeap has opened an Operations & Maintenance case for their account. GoodLeap will retain a reputable local solar provider to examine the solar system installation. Subject to the system evaluation, as necessary and applicable, GoodLeap will have the solar provider perform the necessary repairs, as well as service Olivia’s system. GoodLeap, as a sign of goodwill, will cover the expense of this work. As additional information or updates arise, GoodLeap will communicate them to Olivia. Should Olivia have questions about their loan with GoodLeap or information regarding their pending case, they may contact Client Support Project Manager Marcus Hagins at 1-916-262-8109 or via email at [email protected].
