This purchase was a huge mistake. I was young and naive. However, I don't understand why I was approved for a loan I couldn't afford. The maintenance fee has double in two years and triple in 6 years after I purchased it. I couldn't afford then and not even now. I have rented out my week before, but I was charged $150 due to GPR claiming 50 commission off of it. Here I am paying over $1000 in maintenance fee seems insulting to rent out for $300 (and only netting $150). I have called them several times in regards to the renting out unit money. Each time I called, they said it's in process or the process is almost done, and I should be expecting something in the mail. I never saw the renting unit money. I lost trust in them. There were times I would reserve a week and never stay. I couldn't afford the ridiculous maintenance fee on top of airline tickets. The maintenance fee has increased 450 since I've purchased 15 years ago. In addition, each year they added a $200 - $400 assessment fee. Their budget is out of control. Although Grand Pacific offers to swap my week to a different property, they demand I pay an extra $300 and more to do so. I have swapped my week to another property in the U.S mainland a couple of times. The swap to a different property is not the same value as it was in the Hawaii property. I feel cheated. I purchased this Vacation Ownership 15 years ago and I've never been back to Hawaii. I offered them my VOA for free. Grand Pacific Resort wouldn't take it bac Resolution Sought I WANT OUT AND I WANT MY MONEY BACK

I am reaching out to you to let you know I have been defrauded by this company. A few days after we signed our contract, we called them to cancel the transaction. We are/were permitted to do this per the rescission period (by law). We called them back to cancel the transaction, but no one called us back and now I am stuck with this timeshare. When we signed up, we didn't know much about timeshares. They had us sit through a presentation that lasted about 3 hours too long. They told us that we can use the timeshare anytime we go on vacation or just wanted to get away. We never knew we had to pay a fee just to register for the hotel and we only could use it for our points or we can purchase more points, they never told us this. They never said anything about the maintenance fees going up each year, they left out a lot of important details. During the presentation, we kept saying no and they would just bring the manager out to us and try to put more pressure on us. The few times we were able to use the timeshare, we would always have to ask for extra towels and for the housekeepers to clean the room. The last time we used the hotel it looked like it needed the carpet cleaned and the room looked run down. My husband passed away in Oct 2021 and this timeshare has become a horrible financial burden on me as I try to pay for something that I will never use again. I am wasting money that I could be putting towards my home. This is a senseless liability and it isn't good for my health Resolution Sought I want all of this to be over. I would like a refund, but most importantly I do not want to own this timeshare anymore. I want them to take it back.
