On Aug. 2, 2020 we purchased a Goodman hvac unit with installation. We have a contract for what was included and the price. They did not hook up the heater. They also never installed the uv light. There is a 3 year service contract warranty. Also a10 year warranty on parts, labor, and compressor. When we called to get service and ask them to install the uv light in 2021 they sent someone out saying he was there to clean the ducts and tried to charge us for it. Then when we continued to call for service they finally blocked our phone numbers. Now when we call it hangs up after 1 ring. So Aug 7 2022 our A/C went out. We had my sister in law call them to get them out here. They sent a subcontractor. They determined it was the compressor. They said they could order the compressor and change out the compressor and add Freon for$650 as soon as they got the manager of green city pros approval. We agreed even though we are supposed to have a warranty. He removed the old compressor and took it with them. We waited and kept in contact with the subcontractor. A week later they have not received approval from green city pros. We found the old compressor returned on our porch. We called the subcontractor and he said they never got an approval. We asked them if they would do the job and we would pay them. They agreed to the $650 which includes the labor, compressor, Freon. Resolution Sought To honor our contract agreement and warranty. To install the heater and uv light. To reimburse the $650.
