On February 17, 2023 I signed a contract with Green Home to provide me a complete solar system installation. As stated in the contract GHS is responsible for providing all labor and materials required to complete and deliver a solar system to my property. After six moths I still had no power and started filing complaints. After emails and phone messages to the company I finally received a call from a senior manager who informed me that the project would not be completed until the electrician they hired completed a final checklist that my local power company required before the system is approved. Meanwhile solar panels were sitting on my house ready to be fired up for many months. Green home systems and the electrical contractor would not continue the project until their potential legal despite over payments for work was completed. Utility said that a production meter needed to be installed before they would ok my project. I decided on 9-17-23 to hire their electrician myself and pay for the install of the Electrical Co required meter to start using the system. I paid $1748.75 out of my own pocket. After inspection by the utility they stated that the Meter had to be moved a few inches in order to meet their requirements. After many complaints to the Better Business Bureau on my part Green Home Systems hired a different electrician to move the meter and the system was finally approved on 10-26-23. A GHS rep said they were reviewing my invoices. I never heard from t Resolution Sought Give me a refund of $1748.75 that I had to pay out of my own pocket to their electrical contractor to move the project forward. The electrical employee I was dealing with couldn't believe they were doing this to people on this county and thought they should be banned here. That was just a passing thought but doubt it is an official response from the utility.
